Followed the instructions step by step. Loosely assembled legs to center sections, dropped entire hitch (minus head) into Ram OEM puck holes. At this point it dropped right in, however the T-pins (the part that twists inside the puck hole that locks the hitch in) still needed a lot of adjustment as there was to much up and down travel. before adjusting those, I then tightened up the 4 bolts that hold the legs on to 170 ft. lbs as indicated in the manual. At this point the hitch was in and would not come out, the problem was though was that it wouldn't come out as tightening the center section to the legs caused to T-pins to bind against each puck. The only way at this point to take the hitch out was to re-loosen the center section bolts, which would relieve the tension on the T-pins. Afterwards I struggled for several more hours trying to figure out how to get it in, adjusting the jam nuts on each corner, re-adjusting the T-pin height at each corner, there was just no way. Not enough adjustment in this hitch to make it work so it's going back. Afterwards, a internet search yielded several more posts from other folks like me that were having the same issue. Had high hopes but it looks like i'll be going with the B&W RVK3600 which has more adjustment at each corner.
