Work great. A little confusing but once you get the right adapters works easy.I removed some outer races from the knuckles off of a Subaru for my local tool truck guy. He was so impressed that he wrote down the tool number before he left my shop. "Hee hee". I only gave this tool 4 stars for 1 reason and 1 reason only. I suggest that if someone wants their front wheel bearings replaced on a 2006 Toyota Tundra... DO NOT DO IT WITH THIS TOOL! It was the first real hard use of the tool and it bent the thick crossbar of the main tool body, destroyed the bearing, the threaded shaft twisted and bent and 2 of the cones became concave on 1 side and convex on the other. Not knocking the tool because it was replaced at no cost but I will price new knuckles, hubs and bearings if another Tundra shows up at my shop with worn front wheel bearings. This tool is definitely a time saver and the self centering design is absolutely amazing! Thanks OEM Tools! You definitely produce impressive quality at a great price!This thing is a tank as a professional tech for 15yrs I was doing it the old fashion way got this and finally got a wheel bearing job it . it made short work of it in half the time. Did the passenger side bearing and though the snap ring rusted off proceeded to pressing it our it pushed the bearing out and broke the snap ring in the process talk about tough. Will buy this 10 times over for what the tool trucks want for this you will save about $350 or so buying this from amazon. Get it you won't be sorryWow. Just wow. I work in a shop and I have at my disposal a large press, a full set of old school impact style wheel bearing press tools and whatever hammers and pieces of lumber one might need to get the job done. Then I loaned my press to a fellow mechanic and he ruined the threads and refused to replace it. As you can imagine, this did not go well for him, but I digress.I had to buy a new impact style press and jumped to Amazon to see what I would have to fork out. I stumbled on this OEM set and read reviews. I watched the videos and then checked out more videos on YouTube. I decided to give it a go and see what happened.I purchased this set and almost immediately upon arriving, I landed a wheel bearing job on a very rusty Chevy. That bearing looked like it was going to be a huge pain to get out, but I muddled my way through the directions until everything began to make sense. I assembled the necessary components and to my amazement, it smoothly pulled out the hub. A moment later, I reconfigured and it smoothly pulled out the bearing. My impact hardly broke a sweat. A few minutes later, I reconfigured the set once more and without any effort, centered the bearing in the knuckle, and pressed it right in. One more part swap later and the hub was in, as well.All in all, the process took about 30 minutes, with the knuckle still attached to the vehicle, including reading directions. I have never used anything so smooth, and well built to so quickly do this job.For a mechanic on flag time, this tool is a must!Good quality, but it did not have the necessary adapters to replace the wheel bearing in my Toyota Celica.This tool almost literally turns a hub and bearing job into a cakewalk. Normally I'm not one to gush over tools, but it now actually takes me longer to cut the old bearing race off a hub than it does to pull the hub, pull the bearing, and press both back into place. Yes it costs more than a cheap shop press, but you can't fit that press into carrying case, and you certainly can't clamp that press to your car's front end, and you'll have a really fun time trying to take that press on the road. Buy this and you'll never regret it, unless maybe you work on large trucks. It's not really built for those.I'm a mechanic in a professional shop. The idea of using a press for these bearings suck because it can be difficult to get everything straight. This tool is awesome! I've used twice now and takes hub and bearing out with ease and quick. Spindle still on car all you need is a badass impact and bam! It's out... the only thing I will say I'd change is pulling the hub out there isn't an adapter for the back side only the nut. First time I used it came out great except I had to hammer nut out of the hub. Other than that worth every single penny.I am a full time automotive technician, I have used this tool to change press in wheel bearings for the past couple months and don't know how I survived without it. I would recommend to automotive repair shops as well as the DYI guys. Saves a ton of time and effort, no longer need to pull the spindle and take to the press.Worked on a B5 S4. Instructions are lacking but between what you get and YouTube it's not too hard to figure out.I have used this tool a few times now, it works very well, saved me time and money, happy to recommend.Good tool see this tool lasting foreverLook decent.
